In the Search Marketing world there are many official certifications that can help any expert to demonstrate what they know. Beginners can also take advantage of it as a great starting point to introduce them in the Search Marketing world. Official Google Certifications
Google official certifications (both Analytics and AdWords) are completely free. There is a training center called Google Partners with all the content needed to prepare all exams certifications.
Anyone can register easily and fast through Google Partners. The following certifications are available in the platform:
Google Analytics individual Qualification (IQ Analytics)
The Google Analytics individual qualification exam covers basic and advanced Google Analytics concepts like Mobile App Data Analysis. The IQ Analytics has a validity period of 18 months and the following features:

Google AdWords Official Certifications
The are 6 official exams inside Google AdWords program certification: Adwords fundamentals search, display, video, shopping and Mobile advertising exam. To become an Adwords certified, you’ll need to pass the AdWords fundamentals exam and one of the other AdWords exams. All official AdWords certifications have a validity period of 12 months. Official SEMPO certifications
SEMPO is a global non-profit organization with the purpose to provide a foundation for industry growth, promoting the industry and providing education. SEMPO offers an individual certification with 125$ cost. Some benefits from this certification are:

Official Bing certification
The official certification of Bing Advertising certifies you as an expert to create Search and Display ads in the content network. Here you have the entire content to prepare the exam. You also need, like the AdWords certifications program, to reach an 80% of correct answers to pass the exam. It is a 100-question exam, completely free that certifies you as an expert during 12 months.

There are hundreds of different certifications in the Search Marketing world. I’ve covered only the most recognized certifications. Logically, having a certification doesn’t make you an expert, but it’s a great starting point to be a Search Marketing expert.
